| - AWFUL.
My boyfriend is a Comedian, so I'm here all the time for shows. Over the last 6 months, this place has taken a major turn in the wrong direction - and you can tell, as the room is less and less crowded every time.
The biggest issue is the food. Their chef clearly doesn't enjoy eating very much. They have served me unsalted food several times.
Usually, I've just come from work and am starving, and totally game for a meal and a few drinks. But the food is so bad and inconsistent here. Sometimes the guacamole is a generous 12oz+ serving, other times it's a measly 2oz ramekin, and it's the same price. Sometimes it's got tomatoes and sometimes it's just mashed over-ripe avocado with no seasoning at all - you never know what to expect.
The wings are usually safe. Stay the heck away from the lobster mac & cheese - you can tell it's frozen seafood from the awful rubbery texture. Ditto for the fish tacos. They're overbreaded fish sticks in tortillas... it's bizarre... kind of like a big fish stick with fried chicken breading.
The cocktails are crazy expensive but at least they *usually* they get those right.
It feels like a slap in the face to have to order here because I'm hungry - the prices are crazy high and the quality is so,so low - but I'm there for the comedy, as is everyone else, and simply held hostage to the bad food at premium prices. I don't have a choice.
Please hire a better chef. Please fix your menu so that it doesn't read like a Costco mom's family meal plan. Taste your food before you serve it.
And maybe consider a rewards program for those of us that have continued to patron your terrible restaurant for the sake of comedy, or at least a happy hour drink special? K thanks.
