We stopped by this place on the way to Trader Joe's looking for dog biscuits and turtle food. I was SHOCKED at how many puppies they had for "SALE". 40-50 puppies in the height of summer for $900-2000 is way too many!
there is no way they could sell that many pups in a reasonable amount of time at those prices. what happens to those little pups when no one buys them?
the place was over crowded with animals, and the staff was a bunch of teen age girls who obviously knew nothing about the proper care of dogs.
their fish area was dark, dank and dirty. I would never put one of those fish in with mine for fear of disease.
there should be a limit to how many pups they can have in house at one time, or they should be shut down.
Where is the regulation? where is the health dept? where is the labor dept (as I doubt all these little girls are on the books)
Obviously the owners of this establishment are not ethical, I would never buy a dog there, no matter how sad their little faces are as they beg for love and a decent home out of this hell hole.
oh, and one more thing, most of the high reviews on this place look like they came from some of the little employees, so don't be fooled.
