  • This has been one of my favorite places since childhood. I remember when it was called the "Planetarium" and even when it was called "the Calgary Science Centre". I have always enjoyed the interactive, hands-on exhibits. Also, this centre has a very interesting style about it, sort of 'whimsical'. The admission price is reasonable considering that often, we're paying for a show in the Dome Theatre. Now, those are always interesting ;) However, it breaks my heart that this beloved Calgary landmark will soon be moving due to C-Train construction. I may check out the new location when it opens, just out of curiosity.
