  • My family has a lot of antique lamps and it's not uncommon to need a replacement shade, updated cord (not a c. 1940 one), etc. We vacillate between Odz and Phoenix Lamp. Odz has an amazing selection of antique shades. Some absolutely gorgeous etched glass, turn of last century painted glass, hobnail, etc. But the customer service and downright rudeness takes me back to Phoenix Lamp every time, even if I have to compromise on selection: they're nicer, faster w repairs, and more lenient and understanding with their return policy. None of which applies to Odz, sadly. If you need a particular item, absolutely check Odz because their inventory is unparalleled--but steel yourself beforehand.
