The exterior is a tad drab but the interior is sure to intrigue. The decor and soundtrack create a fantastic mise en scène and make you feel like you're in a Woody Allen film (Manhattan to be specific).
Everything from the tin ceiling to the rustic bar cabinets and even the menu had me hooked. The cocktails are old classics with a modern twist (could not resist a mixology pun!). The attention to detail, down to the vintage glass, is really to be admired. The cocktails are made in a way to allow for the character of their high quality liquors to shine through. A few drinks will put a dent in your wallet but savouring the the first few will justify the seemingly ridiculous prices, I think.
I could have done without the too cool for school attitude of the bartenders.
