| - I understand things can get hectic in the morning, but my experiences here have been absolutely horrible. I always go inside in the morning as I don't want to risk being late to work waiting in the long drive-thru, which clearly has proven to be a mistake, and not save me any time. The first time I came here in the morning, my bagel was forgotten. Like I said, I understand it's busy, and things can get hectic, so I was patient, but after 15 minutes after getting my drink, and still no bagel, I finally said something. I didn't get an apology, just was told that it must have been forgotten, and it would be out in a minute. It wasn't ready for another 5 minutes. This 20+ minute experience led to me being late for training at my new job, and getting a "talking to" from my manager, which was completely embarrassing, and I'm sure left a horrible first impression.
Fast forward a few weeks later, I'm extremely tired, yet manage to wake myself up early enough to stop at Starbucks. I was hesitant to go do to my experience the time prior, but I really needed a pick me up before work. I made sure to leave 30 minutes earlier than I normally leave, just to be safe, and thank God I did because needless to say, the girl at the register forgot to do her job again. My bagel came out, and after waiting over 10 minutes, and beginning to see people who came after me getting their coffees, I was about to lose it.
The barista must have noticed I was upset because she got my attention, and asked me what I was still waiting on. I let her know, and she apologized, she never got the order. She quickly made my drink, and apologized again when she handed it to me. I wish I caught her name, as she is the ONLY reason I am giving this location an additional star, as her customer service was exactly as it should of been.
I really hope Starbucks either re-trains their cashiers, or hires more competent staff. It shouldn't be that hard to relay the order you rung up to ensure it's made properly.
