Don't listen to other people - who obviously don't pay attention to the clear wording about wellness plans. It is stated on the brochure, "Optimum Wellness Plans are NOT insurance." (There is an emphasis on the NOT portion - bolded and in all capital letters). It's unfortunate that people misunderstand the simplicity of it. Anyway... I went here on a Friday with my dog, when another Banfield in the area was not available to see me. I was informed ahead of time, that there would be a wait as they were going to fit me in. Girl at the front desk was nice - and seemed flustered... but the lobby was full of people, rooms were in full swing and the phones were ringing. She answered every call with a smile and apologized a bunch of times for the wait - even calling back to get updates for us waiting. I've waited longer at my doctors office. Lol. The doctor was kind and informative - and gave me all the information I needed. They even printed out some information regarding the medications they gave my baby. She gave me options that were in my price range and things that were not. Even though I could not afford the best option... It was a good experience, as my dog left with her tail wagging. I didn't mind paying for the medication (even if it cost $6 less online) as it would have been too much of a hassle. Yes, they can seem expensive compared to other veterinary clinics - but why even go in the first place. There was even a lady upset about the price and getting angry with the staff. It's obvious they are a corporation and have no control over pricing. You don't go to the mall and yell at the prices for a purse, because you can buy it cheaper elsewhere... you just go elsewhere.
