  • I'll see Janet & Jim's "horrible & nightmare" and raise with "worst customer service experience ever." Well, 2nd worst, but yelp didn't exist then so it almost doesn't count. Wanting to switch from iphone to android and hoping to lower our bill, we stopped in when we hit the art fair last weekend. CARLY helped us (yes, she's capitalized because if you take anything away from this review, you'll remember who to stay the hell away from). Yes, last weekend, CARLY was actually helpful, giving us prices for the phones we wanted ($2.99/mo for the LG G3... amazing!), told us about a rebate (phone is $50 but there's a mail in rebate of $50) and quoted the price for the new plan. There are plenty of Verizon stores in Scottsdale that are much closer, but she was nice, so we decided to stick with her even though it was a pain to go over there. The day we ordered, the store said she'd be there at 10 am. Get there... no, she wouldn't be in until after 12. Drive back to Scottsdale. Drive back to FH. CARLY then says the phones aren't $2.99/mo, but $7.99/mo and there's no rebate. Decide it's still a good deal, order 2 phones. Phones come in and she sets up a 12:15 appointment for today. Drive to FH. 12:20. No Carly. Her co-worker said she's running late. Carly shows up at 12:30 and slooooowly strolls into the store. Gets the phones and doesn't bother to apologize for being late. She totals the plan. It's now $10 more than she quoted us last week. She says the phones increased in price. When? Since we ORDERED them?! She couldn't tell us when the price increase happened. So now, the phones are $12.99/mo which is $2.99 more than 3 other Verizon stores all told us it'd be (and p.s., none of them even remotely knew about a rebate, so G*d only knows where she pulled that from. She walks away then comes back and says, "Yes, the phones went up in price." But we have a written quote from you! She starts getting an attitude and says that the rebate and price were only good if we signed up with the plan last weekend. NEVER did she say that when we were in the store. We left. It's not about the extra $10. We've already gone to the Verizon on 90th St. in Scottsdale and been treated the way customers should be treated. It's about CARLY having NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS and blaming the customer outright for her utter incompetence and bad attitude. If you ever find yourself in need of Verizon help in FH, and you don't have a car or a friend to take you to Scottsdale, my first suggestion would be to take your chances hitchhiking because a creepy guy in a van with blacked out windows will probably respect you more than CARLY. If you choose to go into that store, stay away from the one who looks least likely to run a marathon and you might get treated like a customer should be treated.
