My wife and I (and a friend of my wife's) stayed here while attending the College Football National Championship game. The property was spread out. When we arrived, one of the Guest Service staff members communicated to us that one of the pools was not in operation, but that was no big deal since the temperatures were rather chilly. The gentleman did a great job of letting us know what amenities the resort had to offer, and that we could have used a nearby properties pool and spa if we wanted.
Our room was on the second floor. You walk into the room and the living room was straight ahead, with the kitchen area being off on our right. The living room area came with a pullout couch and flatscreen TV. Near the kitchen counter was the dining table which was round and came with four chairs. The kitchen came with sink and full size refrigerator. I don't recall seeing any cook top appliances, but did have a microwave and dishwasher as well.
The restroom had a door to the master bedroom as well as the kitchen. The master bedroom was somewhat confined. It was pretty tight maneuvering around in the bedroom, but it worked out fine. The master bedroom and the living area had access to a nice patio with an outdoor sofa and some chairs.
On Sunday morning, we visited the bar area for Bloody Mary's. The bar staff was very friendly, but the drinks (which I thought were going to be complimentary) was kinda on the pricey side at $8 a pop.
This was a very nice resort! I would recommend it as well as stay here again if ever back in Scottsdale.
