  • If you wanna hear about their dogs you can scroll to the end of the review. - Birds: Amazingly taken care of. Have purchased a cockatiel from them, he's doing amazing. Any avian owner (I got 3 bird kiddos) can easily tell that they're having a great time, are fed well, and are down to play. They do a great job with hand training, which a lot of people don't realize. And it's especially hard when you have like a hundred birds to train to like humans when they really don't want to! - Reptiles: Good boys :))) I purchased a snake from them, he's also doing very well. ONLY place in town you can get live feed for so cheap that are also very healthy (plus they have punch cards!) and also not get judged for it (got a speech at another store for being abusive to animals because I had to feed my meat eating animal some meat..) Their dragons are always interested in playing, their geckos love to chill on you and play with your fingers, and I have watched them care for them in the mornings while stopping by for feed and they have their breakfasts while the caretaker talks to them as though they were their own pets :) Note on the feed: I say healthy because that's super important, 2 bucks for a healthy adult rat where other places would charge 10 and then you'd see mites or illness scabs. - Smaller Animals: I have purchased a tarantula from them and now get crickets. FIRST OFF, GREAT CRICKET PRICE. Not only a punch card, but they aren't Petsmart, who count the crickets one by one and make sure it's the exact number. They'll give you a few extra because they fully understand that a couple of the troopers might be lost by the time you get home. They also don't let you buy live feed unless you're going straight home. - Fish: Actually great fish prices even though they don't have so many, you'd expect them to overcharge. I've gotten some Betta fish (some because they have a short lifespan, R.I.P my children) and they've always had no issues eating and, pardon me, weren't complete idiots. I've gotten fish at other stores that are so inbred they'll kill themselves from stupidity. - Cats: Also well taken care of, being young kittens most of the time, I have seen them get into a lot of trouble and injure themselves but there's always a lil medic right on scene. I can't say much about them because I dont spend much time playing with them, but I can say they are well fed and will always have a lot of fun if ya stick a finger in there. - ~AND FINALLY~ DOGS: Since people love to talk only about them, I put them at the end of the list, give the other animals some attention first. Look guys. You come in there and request to play with the dogs (and get mad when they reject you! Haha seen that too many times!). Do you realize there have been another like 10 families that have played with the same dog that day? Do you realize that those 10 families were around another 10, who where around another 10, and all of you have your own individual health states? These dogs are exposed to so many potential pathogens when they are requested to be played with. Dear reader, this next part doesn't mean you specifically (unless you're exactly the kind of person I'm addressing..) You come in there, request to play with a dog, and doom it to get sick. You then accuse the store of harboring sick animals and for practicing animal abuse over something YOU did! Animals get sick! Get over it! How about, next time you have the cold, I take poorly lit and purposefully ugly pictures of you, then post it on social media. How would you like that? I catch you in your worst state and amplify it. You wanna "help" the dog? Buy them! They'd love to go home with you, and then maybe when they're home with you, you'll realize that sicknesses heal, and animals and businesses are not defined just because you had one poor experience. Please don't read one bad story on social media, see one staged picture, see one sick animal, and just assume the place is a hell hole. And if you read this whole review, or even part of it, thank you. This is by far the best pet store I have been to, dare I say, in my life. The good people who genuinely love animals don't deserve all this flaming from social media and uneducated masses. You know some of their employees have been there for 30+ years? They seriously just love their jobs so much that they don't want to leave. The employees love where they work and they love the animals there. If you don't want to see animals being animals, then maybe don't go to pet stores...
