  • Goodwill is terrific. I clean out my closets, drawers and household items and rather than the hassle of a yard sale I can just run it down to Goodwill. No need to get out of the car either! You pull up behind the store and wait until a worker comes out, takes all the donations you have and give a receipt for taxes right there. Easy peasey and you know that it is going to a good cause. They hire so many people who need training, sell low cost clothing to people who might not be able to afford it otherwise. They do amazing work and I get to write off the value on my taxes and get the money back without the headache of a yard sale. It makes you feel all the feels to donate as well. I am glad they are here to help.
