| - Would we ever eat here if it wasn't for the comp that comes with our stays? Probably not. Food tastes okay, but nothing tastes great for the prices they charge. And this surely isn't Chinatown in LA.
Garlic shrimp, chicken & beef was a little sweeter than I would've liked. But nice serving portion for two. The shrimp wonton noodle soup was more bland than I'd like, but plenty of noodles and something like 6-8 (big) wontons, so hey, that's a definitely plus. The calamari we probably wouldn't get again. Cooked for too long as they were very chewy/rubbery, and the garlic salt & pepper didn't really cling on like the way it does when you order it from a 'legit' restaurant.
Service is okay. Our drinks were refilled and nothing landed on the table cold, but then again we were wrapping up just as they started seating the ocean of people who were coming out of UFC 143, so I can't speak for how they are when they're busy.
That food with two sodas cost us just a little over $55, including tax & tip, so not bad for 'hotel' food for two, but again, without the comp, we wouldn't be eating here. I wouldn't recommend this place either. I'll definitely take the Dragon Noodle Co (?) at Monte Carlo over this place (that one has combo dinners/specials for 2+ people with bigger portions, more choices & better food).
