  • While visiting Kent, we decided to stop at Acme Supermarket. It feels a little strange reviewing a supermarket, but this one is rather worth the review. I had never been to an Acme before and have to say that I like the layout and how well lit this place is. Some grocery stores are really dim and depressing, but not here. The aisles are very large and spacious and there is an excellent selection of produce, meats, cheese, and all other things. When there, I only purchased a few items as that is all I needed. However, I did take the time to walk around and found that they had a great organic section that rivals some of the competitors in the area. Also, they have a really wonderful floral department that was filled to the brim with blooms. Acme is a really nice place to shop and if I were a resident in Kent, this would be the place that I would be shopping. The meat department is also large and plentiful and they look like they have a good selection of meats--something that is important as well. If you are in the Kent area and need a place to grocery shop, Acme is the place.
