| - When I visited this place, it was the day before the Super Bowl, and I thought it would be a great idea to walk to the West Side Market during the blizzard, only to find myself deprived of caffeine and feeling in my fingertips. The walk up the brick steps to this cozy cafe was treacherous, but worth all the anxiety I experienced.
Coming into the cafe, the staff were all very knowledgable, catering to all my questions about their pour-over options. The menu is minimalistic, and everything they make seems to use the best ingredients, and best techniques. The amount of care that went into my cappuccino, which a default drink was astounding. And a cafe that offers Cortados, really impressed me.
The space is limited at this place, and that the only deficiency I can name, but the decor and design are all modern. What really showcases the special-nature of this cafe are the friendly staff and the quality roasts that are provided. I highly recommend visiting this cafe just for the high quality of the coffee.
