| - I love fully vegan restaurants but they always have a lot to live up to since I'm from LA (Vegan paradise compared to Vegas)...Vegenation lives up to my standard!
When they first opened their downtown location, I was not that enthusiastic about Vegenation, but it's been a while now and they have definitely upped their food game! Their menu includes an array of items from cuisines across the world...turned vegan!
Nine times out of ten, I start off with the buffalo cauliflower. This starter is a MUST for first timers. My boyfriend always gets the pineapple pizza, while I always try something that I haven't yet tried. So far, I can't say that I've had a bad dish here. The Muchas Gracias is great if you're in the mood for some yummy comfort food. The Green Tea Noodle Salad is my top pick for when I'm trying to be extra healthy. Most recently, I tried the Out of Africa...man oh man, I hadn't had that dish since 2010 when I was in Cape Town eating the "famous peanut stew" with the locals. If you're in the mood for dessert after, get their brownie sundae, which would no doubt fool any non-vegan.
Besides the delicious eats, Vegenation has a great ambiance as well. The interior is very cute with wooden furniture, live plants, and pro-vegan paintings. Every employee I've encountered has had excellent customer service skills. I also love the uniquely creative sayings often written on the chalkboard in front.
Whether you're vegan or not, I highly encourage all to give Vegenation a try!
