This was my first time to the salon, and I loved the atmosphere. They really have a great space (of course its upstairs). When I initially scheduled an appointment, I asked to have someone who had curly hair (because I have naturally curly hair and it makes me more comfortable knowing someone who has curly hair will cut my hair---because they know how to work with it). I got scheduled with Nicki (*sp?), she was wonderful, but had naturally straight hair.......(which I didnt request),....... I got the "first timer" package and it said that it was gonna come with a makeup touch up...and they never gave me one. In addition, I used to live in Flagstaff and went to the Aveda (Red 15) salon up there and when I got my hair there, they always blow dried my hair straight and fixed it with a straightner....when I went to Mood Swings she blow dried it, but it was still kind of lumpy in certian places where my hair is extra curly because she didnt straighten it.
Overall, it was good but I was kinda disapointed because it was expensive and I didnt get what I was initially promised.
I think i'll try it one more time. . . . just to give them a fair chance. If you're reading this, I think that you should try it but be cautious.
