| - I had no idea what type of dress I wanted, or where I wanted to get my wedding dress from. I walked into Brides By Demetrios in Scottsdale with my Matron of Honor just to look at dresses. I was overwhelmed by their extensive collection of wedding dresses. Shortly after walking into the boutique I met Amanda. Amanda kindly persuaded me to just stay and try on a few dresses. I instantly fell in love. Amanda had told me there was a trunk sale coming up soon since she knew I had a budget. I ended up coming back a few weekends later with my Mom and a few girls from my wedding party. Once again, still was not 100% sure of the type of dress I wanted. I think I ended up trying on about 6. Amanda, as knowledgeable as she is, picked out a few she thought would fit my body style and make me look glamorous (you honestly can't go wrong with their dresses, they are so unbelievably beautiful and unique). I tried on a few Great Gatsby looking dresses that I thought would be stunning, but needless to say I didn't think of how the feathers would look in the wind or my restricted movement on the dance floor or even the beads that would blind the guests when the sun hit it in a certain way. Amanda educated me on every dress and made sure I knew the pros and cons for an outside wedding on a golf course. The second to last dress I tried on was this beautiful halter that went around my neckline. Amanda chose this dress as I never would have initially. I couldn't imagine wearing a dress like this but as soon as I walked out of the dressing room and showed my Mom she started balling. I instantly knew this was my dress, it was bold and beautiful and fit my personality 100%. Amanda also chose a beautiful veil to go with the dress. Amanda made this experience so amazing and she literally picked out my entire wardrobe, my bridesmaid dresses and the Mother of the Bride dress. Just by meeting me once and talking through what I envisioned for my wedding, she knew exactly what I was looking for. I went back a few weeks ago to try on my wedding dress and to pick another dress out for my fiances Mom and Amanda was there once again to assist me and help his Mom pick out a gorgeous dress. I didn't even have to go to another boutique because of the amazing customer service and friendly staff that work at Brides By Demetrios. In the short amount of time I have known Amanda, I feel like we created a friendship because of how incredibly helpful and supportive she was every time we came in to pick out dresses. I highly recommend making an appointment with Amanda for any woman's wedding attire, she is absolutely AMAZING and knows everything there possibly is about making you a one-of-a-kind bride on your wedding day!
