My son (who has sensory issues) went to Tutor Time in Phoenix for a year and had a wonderful experience there and lived going to "school",almost every day. When his dad move out to Surprise we switched to the Tutor Time facility on Bell Rd.. Confident that he would have the same experience there that he had at the previous facility, we enrolled him there.
He would run out of the classroom screaming, he did not want to be there and the staff could not handle his acting out. His "teacher" was rude and never friendly. She clearly did not enjoy her job there. We would get phone calls almost daily that we needed to come pick our son up or that he was in the front office with the director sitting doing nothing.
Basically, the staff blamed my son for his behavior and said that they looked in to it and saw nothing wrong.
We were told by the staff that we may want to have him evaluated. And then were told that they were not equipped to handle someone like him.
He is now in a much more loving daycare and he is doing SO well.
He is excited to go to school again and loves his new surroundings.
This location is terrible. Period.
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who has children who have any kind of special needs.
Actually, I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone.
Your child should be cared for and supported at daycare, not made to feel badly.
He was only enrolled for a couple of weeks and they never did refund the registration fee as they said that they would. This place is a joke.
