On the same trip as my previous review for the Bellagio buffet, we also had more complimentary buffet tickets for any MGM resort so we chose Aria. We decided to go here twice. Once for dinner and once for breakfast. Both times, we had a little bit of a wait to get in. Even with our Elite member line. We had to pay a little bit extra outside of our buffet tickets, for tax for the dinner but not for the breakfast. Once we sat down, a server came over to us and took our drink order. That was different then our experience at the Bellagio. They had a much better spread in general at the Aria buffet. More of a variety and better quality food. Their dessert bar was far better as well. We weren't sure how much to tip, since all they do is bring you your drinks and we only got water. We decided not to tip when we checked in because it's hard to tip before you actually get the service. That is, however, an option. It takes a while to fill your plate because there is so much walking around to do and choosing what kind of food you are going to commit to. I chose a variety and I tried to veer on the healthy side. I would definitely recommend this experience over the Bellagio buffet, I would skip breakfast and go to dinner. Breakfast did not have many options it was more like a lunch. Very similar to the dinner experience.
