This is one of those places that I've had on my list for a while, but just never made it here and I regret not coming earlier! We dined here with a large group of friends a couple months ago and had a lovely time.
I made reservations over the phone and they were very accommodating, which says a lot since it's such a small space. On that note, I highly recommend reservations for your group!
Crawpuppies ($5.29): Minced crawfish blended with spices and fried; served with housemade cajun aioli. YUM! Nothing to hate about these little puppies.
House Cut French Fries ($2.99): It's no secret that I love fries and these are AMAZING. The perfect mix of crunch and a soft interior with great flavor.
Bronzed Shrimp & Grits ($16.99): Gulf shrimp served over Gouda grits with an andouille sausage and mushroom ragout. SO. GOOD. The shrimp were cooked perfectly. The grits are DELICIOUS and that ragout really pushed the dish over the edge.
Jambalaya-Chicken & Sausage; ADD Shrimp ($14.99): Ruben and I LOVE jambalaya and this one was no exception. Great flavors!!
The food was fantastic and so far, it's the best place I've been to in town serving up Cajun/Creole food! I'm definitely looking forward to my next visit.
