My great friend was moving the Australia so I decided to take her to a nice dinner as her 'going away gift'. I figured it was more practical than something she would have to pack, lol.
We both order some drinks, which were quite strong; I was pleased! We decided to split the endive and apple salad. It was so flavorful and the heirloom beets melted in my mouth. It was the perfect size as I was looking forward to my main course: truffle ravioli (I do not recall the real name of the dish!). I love truffles and it was like eating something little angels made. I was so happy! We were too full for dessert but the waiter still brought us some petits fours (complements of the chef). The food was simply amazing, every bite was so delectable!
We also had a view of the Bellagio fountains show and that was very beautiful!
I cannot wait to frequent Scarpetta again (:
