  • How happy am I that Midwood has opened in Birkdale. All I can say that it so good. Started off with the Bacon Wrapped Jalapeños. Always watch out because there is always one really hot one. We call it Jalapeño Roulette. For the mains had the Pork Plate and the Brisket plate. The small portion comes with one side and hush puppies. Had the mac-n-cheese and collards. Both were really good. This is a BBQ staple for me as they have other locations around Charlotte. Good to have one a few minutes from my house. Will be here a lot!!!! Praise the lard (yes lard) that Midwood is in HUNTERSVILLE.
