| - Ok here is the deal...My wife and I moved into the Preserve in October 2015...The rent is actually too high. My wife and I rented a two bedroom and two bath flat on the first floor. To start even as I write this, I can hear everything from upstairs. I don't know who lives upstairs but they never stop walking and you can hear every step. My wife and I are very responsible...We keep our flat very clean and the same with our little dog. My wife and I pick up after our dog, but not everyone does. Mgt. constantly puts notices on our door about dog poop that our dog is not doing and then they wanted to fine me...I called and said this is not our dog doing his business there and that we pick up after the dog. There response and without any proof whatsoever is that your guilty anyway, even if it is someone else's mess. The maintenance team is excellent and respond right away. You feel very much like your not a renter, but a nuisance to them...My only guess is that they don't have anything better to do but mess with the very people paying their salary...Another time when we first moved in, my wife was out in the pool and hot tub area...I came out with my little dog to visit with my wife...The dog area is right beside the pool and my dog had done both number 1 and number 2, which I picked up...So my little dog and I are visiting my wife who is in the hot tub...Management actually comes out and tells me to remove the dog from the area because people are allergic...1st we were the only people out there as it was in the Fall and getting dark...2nd and I laughed about this, I guess the residents are not allergic to all the bird poop that was in the pool...I could understand if my dog was in the pool or pooping inside the pool area, but she was laying on the concrete beside me as I was visiting with my wife...I mean these people have nothing better to do but to constantly mess with their tenants even good ones...They are the self appointed Gestapo of the Preserve and love bossing their customers around...It's really quite odd, because in Texas you'd be considered very rude. On the other hand I also understand they have a ghetto problem with irresponsible tenants, but they use absolutely no common sense in making determinations...Everyone is bad in their eyes...Also during the holidays, which I was gone till Jan 3rd, my rent was already considered late and hey pay us another 60 dollars...I have never heard of anything so ridiculous...I could understand 7days, but 3 and during the holidays when people are traveling...They said of course you could pay online with debit card, but these jerks charge you 30 dollars for that...To say the least my wife and I will most likely not stay past our lease....Mostly because of the unfair treatment that they apply to people who are actually good tenants...The management just has this policy of messing with you for little or no reason or reasons what so ever...In Texas it is considered rude.
