rev:text	I had a one year contract with them that ended recently. The gym had many short comings, even when I joined, including broken cardio equipment, leaking ceiling among other things. The gym under went 3 different ownership a during my time there and has been called Beaches Family Fitness since July. For the price I was paying I was able to overlook a lot of these things. However with new ownership I was hoping they would fix a lot of these problems. They didn't, in fact there were more problems when I left than when I started and few things were fixed if at all! Pros: lots of equipment, pretty cheap membership, large lockers, sauna, air conditioned gym floor, offers a day care if you have children Cons: when it rains outside it rains inside sometimes, the change rooms are hotter than the sauna, the stall doors are broken and often don't have toilet paper in them, the showers have mould growing in them, the equipment is not maintained at all, padding needs to be replaced on some of it, a lot of the cardio equipment is still broken over a year later, the paper towel is provided on the gym floor but not in the bathrooms, only half of the taps in the change room work but usually only have cold water which is funny because the only water fountain on the gym floor has warm to hot water coming out of it usually. If it's close to where you live, it's cheaper than chain gyms and has enough weight lifting equipment to get the job done, but if you can, join Frogs gym at Pape and Mortimer. Even cheaper and has newer equipment and usually doesn't get too busy even during peak hours.
