rev:text	I've read the many reviews of this show and had expected a horrible performance. My tickets were comped so I figured I would check it out and at the very least, what would see was worth what I payed. Nothing. One of the more recent reviews I read stated that there was a technical delay where the curtain came down for 10 minutes. That was just all part of the show. It seemed obvious to most people that was the case, but I guess not. Look I am not a fan of Mind Freak , Criss Angel, or any "illusionist" for that matter. I think that Criss Angel is so conceited that he is one of those people that people love to hate and nothing he will do will be good enough to not get slammed. On the other side are the large portion of his female fans that will say they loved the show due to the mere fact that they were seeing him in the flesh. Yes most of the tricks were pretty hokey. Tons of making birds appear and obvious trap doors. What do people expect really though? It is what it is. The other performers were pretty good and the costumes and set was pretty cool. I would not suggest paying too much to see the show unless you are a big fan of his. If you get tickets free like I did or get them really cheap then check it out and make up your own mind. He made a point of stating how he will be performing at the Luxor for 10 years so I'm pretty sure he will be able to work out at least some of the kinks and make things better over time. I think personally the biggest dissapointment was when he announced that there was a very special guest there that night. I was looking around trying to figure out who this big star was. Then he introduced him......drum roll.....Robin Leach. Ick! Oh well.
