My husband and I moved to Pittsburgh from Miami, FL a few months ago and I have really been missing latin influenced foods. Most of my review will focus on the latin aspect of this restaurant.
This is a very tradional type Churrascaria and reminded me of home. All of the meat was delicious and I definitely recommend going on a very empty stomach!
What I loved:
White rice and beans - YUM!!! The beans were amazing, cooked with pork and so flavorful!
Pan de Bono - Was part of the plate they placed on your table with various breads. This is basically a very fluffy roll with cheese cooked into the dough. Definitely the first place I have found in Pittsburgh that has it and it was amazing!!
Fried yucca - Almost cried when I saw this sitting on our table! Yucca is a root vegetable, almost like a potato. Holy cow, first time I've had it since I moved here and it was cooked perfectly.
The service here was great. All the guys with the meat were friendly and came to the table one after another, so be sure to pace yourself!
The bill came to $102. We had: two prefix meals, one diet coke and one mojito. Pretty pricey, especially because I don't eat a lot, but it was right on par for the cost of any other Churrascaria I have been to!
