  • I want to be clear that this review is not regarding the stylist who did my hair! I went to Ulta because my friend had her hair cut by Ashley, and she did an amazing job, so I made an appointment with her for my hair color. I had never been to the salon there before. As expected, Ashley did a great job! I am giving this a 2 star review due to my experience checking out. I went to the front register to pay, and the cashier asked for my information for the Ulta Beauty Rewards. I gave her my information, and asked if there were any coupons. She said no, but since my birthday had just past, that she could give me the eye shadow primer gift. I thanked her, and went on my way. When I got home, I opened the bag that had the eye shadow primer in it and found the information for the Beauty Rewards program. On the back of the handout there was a coupon for 30% off of your first salon service! I am upset because I asked if there were any coupons, and I was told no! And, I was there for my first salon service! 30% off of the $128 bill would have been very helpful, as I am a full time student! Now that coupon is wasted and I could have saved $40.
