Solid breakfast food in a very comfortable ambiance. I ordered their breakfast scramble with sourdough bread as well as an orange juice. Everything was fresh and made well, unpretentious and satisfying, and not too expensive.
Marigold, like many contemporary brunch places, does modern American breakfast food like scrambled eggs or hash browns and gives it a lift - a touch of spice, extra flavoring, quality cheese and farm-fresh vegetables. It's these little details, difficult to accomplish at home, that make going to a restaurant worth the time and cost. And being cozy in their pleasant, unassuming atmosphere is a great way to start the day.
