My husband and I did a ravioli and risotto class for our anniversary. It was a unique and fun experience!
You get some good cooking tips and learn a handful of things, even if you're a regular in the kitchen. We had Chef Trey and he was friendly, PATIENT and easy to understand in terms of instructions for us to follow along. I would venture to speak for the class that most people had a good time.
My husband and I agreed that it was a good balance of hands-on and hands-off. For the risotto, it was a big batch and very involved so we couldn't all possibly make our own (not like they had a stove top for every person either - in a good way), yet everyone was able to still take part in the process. Chef Trey was good at involving everyone.
At the end of the day, it was a fun experience and I would do it again. A fun gift to give someone or a special date night. Our class had couples AND individuals.
