  • Three reasons to see Dr. Silverman for Neurofeedback: 1. It works! Not only for our 16 year old smart but scattered son, but also for two of our friends. It can take some time, but the difference is amazing. That's the bottom line, isn't it? 2. I've never seen a doctor so committed to his patients! Dr. Silverman has gone to great lengths to accommodate our schedule, working around last minute changes, seeing us at late hours, even offering us time on the weekends. He will often answer the phone directly, or if we get his voice mail, he calls back right away, usually within minutes. 3. He truly understands! He has never said so, but I think I see the telltale signs of an adult coping with ADD. If not, then certainly he is quirky and has difficulty remembering dates and times. He takes great care to write down the next week's appointments in his scheduler, often double or triple checking with me and making sure I have it written down too. Conversations with him are usually matter-of-fact rather than chatty, but always very professional. You can't buy that kind of gut-level understanding.
