  • True story: So in sitting having dinner last night with a metro PD officer and the topic of living in rhodes ranch comes up and to much of my surprise we get talking about the attitude of the security guards. And mind you it's not all of them! The women are always nice and some of the men but a good majority need to calm their Paul Blart attitudes down since it's clear they do not know what they are doing. Most of us who live here are good people who follow the rules, we do not need to be treated badly by a mall cop with a gun! So back to my story, excuse the tangent, my friend goes on to tell me about the constant burglaries that happen here along with the drug and prostitute houses including a story of an escort and pimp who murdered one of the residents in his home here then robbed him. At this point I'm speechless. First, how does this happen in a neighborhood of beautiful nice homes and second, how do these cop wannabes not pay attention to trending? What is the exact point of a guard gate with gun wearing mall cops if they can't patrol and pay attention to the people that are visiting the residents. There is a clear way of doing things and harassing good people while allowing this stuff to go on because actually doing your job is to hard, is ridiculous. It's called trending. It's called paying attention to visitor lists. It's not hard to see houses that are doing drug pickups or excessive woman going in and out in non normal attire that are listed as "permanent visitors". Come on now Paul Blarts, you can do better! So that's my rant of the day. If you are wanting a nice house sure choose here, but if you are picking it because down the street is the exact same house, a little cheaper, and no guard gate, then you are being fooled by the book cover! Oh and regarding the pool: don't tell us when we call its water bottles only and when we get down there it's food galore, pizza deliveries, alcohol everywhere, etc. if you are going to have rules enforce them or don't have them! Rant over!
