  • While visiting my brother up in Pittsburgh, we needed a good after-workout meal. He is pretty carnivorous and I'm vegan. A little bit of scrolling around on Yelp, I found the DWG, which wasn't far from my brothers apartment. The menu looked very accommodating for both of us. I am very pleased we gave this place a try. There were so many good options for both of us. I got the seitan wing-bits and the vegan gyro. The house hot sauce is very good. A little bit of heat with a little vinegary zing. The gyro was loaded with all kinds of good stuff. My brother also said his meal was very good. They had a nice big beer menu too, with a lot of brews I recognize and even some I didn't. Though, since we just got done exercising, drinking wasn't on the agenda. The waiter was plenty nice and attentive. Though, being as it was only about 15 degrees out, the place was kind of empty. The interior design is pretty cool, kind of a throw back to classic cars and gas stations. If I lived in Pittsburgh I would visit place often. They pretty much have something for everyone here.
