Cold, Lake Mojave water (compared to Lake Mead), shoreline trash & diapers.
Disappointing. Dual agency managed, so I will guess the locals (Arizona? County?) are not holding up their end. The visitors don't help either by ignoring signs banning styrofoam & littering.
Good parking, cabanas (dirty) & grills, tap water, toilet buildings (but no hand washing), separate kayak launch area. They honor the national park pass. Ok to be around after dark unlike Boulder Beach at Lake Mead.
BE SAFE! Beware of flash floods during rain on the twisty road down the ravine; the current; cold water. Use PFDs (life jackets) for water play. Keep an eye on kids in or near the water.
Maybe bring a trash bag, gloves, and pick up a little after others who don't care?
