| - I called yesterday, and asked the service department if they could fit my vehicle in for a diagnostic. They said yes, if I arrived within thirty minutes, it could be completed before close. When I arrive, fifteen minutes later, im ssked to leave my vehicle overnight or come first thing in the morning. A little bit irritated about the misinformation, I leave and come back at 7am. Im second in line. I get Nick Wagnag, and ask for a full blown diagnostic, and he said he'll check my car out "from front to back". After all of my information is put in, I reclarify that I want a full blown diagnostic, that I'm about to travel a long distance, and I want everything on my car looked at. He agrees again. And he cant seem to give me a time estimate.
Fast forward 3 hours in the lobby!! I find him and I ask him how much longer before my vehicle is done, that I have to leave for work soon. He tells me he'll check on my car, and be right back. Ten minutes later, he finds me and tells me that his tech is writing up the paper work right now, and he'll be back in ten more minutes, but offers ZERO details about what theyve found on my car. Which is odd. Almost twenty minutes later, Nick arrives with paper work and tells me that I only have one issue with my car, an issue that autozone told me in 2 minutes when they plugged in their little machine and checked my codes the day prior.
So, my 16 year old car, which seems to break down or end up in a shop every month or so, has no issues? All of my fluids are fine? My breaks are fine? My oil, which hasnt been changed in almost a year, (give or take 10k miles) is fine? AYFKM? When I inquired about how this could even be possible, he told me that he looked and it was good. He said he had a hard time seeing the coolant because my resevoir is so old and worn, but otherwise, im solid.
That right there told me he hadnt even OPENED MY HOOD. My resevoir had just been replaced, and is as clear as can be. My window washer fluids are dry as a bone. And my oil most definitely needs to be changed. He had most likely began his inspection thirty minutes before he walked in with the paper work, which he had bullshitted one hundred percent.
After getting caught in all of his lies, he tells me he wont charge me for the inspection. Really? Hes not going to charge me for an inspection that he didnt do? How gracious of him.
Not only this, but he tried to convince me that I only asked for a visual inspection, not a diagnostic. But couldnt explain how a bullshit visual inspection takes a total of 4 and a half hours.
I will never come to this location again. The absolute worst service I've ever had, and that is hard to beat in the mechanic world. I went to a dealership, and was lied to and cheated, most likely because Nick assumed I was oblivious because im female. Unbelievable.
