  • I've been here many times over the years. It was actually one of the first bars I ever went to. Seems like a MTL institution. Sort of pubby / restaurant during the day, then the BASSment (play on words, yes), turns into a full blown club with VIP booths, a dancefloor, with expensive covers and coat-check. So so place to hang out. Low ceilings, and, you definitely know you're in a basement. Overall, go check this place out if you're walking by and on Crescent Street. Never eaten there, but sure have put back a lot of drinks there. The first time I went (I'm an out of towner) was 20 years ago. Thanks for the memories SWC.
