CARE: Excellent
BILLING: no good
My care was prompt, mostly courteous, and I got an accurate diagnosis (walk-in on a weekend).
Billing - - - pretty bad. No - - really bad.
I've got dozens other health care providers who have had no problems correctly billing my insurance company - from mega-corps to single doc offices. But Banner Urgent Care's billing sent me an insurance denial and payment demand notice because they (somehow) billed the wrong insurance (and ins co couldn't find me in their system).
I thought that's why I gave you my insurance card to copy - - - so you couldn't screw up.
And if you do screw up (and get a denial from insurance like "this guy isn't in our system") - - - - then why don't you call the phone number on the insurance card you copied and get it straightened out?
Why do you send me an insurance denial and demand notice, and force me to either straighten it out online or spend 25 minutes on the phone with your (categorically unfriendly) billing company?
When you get a "this person isn't found" back from insurance, I'd be willing to bet that 9 times out of 10 it's because you made a claim error. An error that's easily fixed by checking that little white card you copied.
Well - -- I've given you the information again. Let's see if you can make it work the second time.
I'd return to the clinic again if the billing gets fixed.
