  • 3 things that leaked needed to be fixed in my master bathroom (though not an emergency): 1) Bathroom spout (I supplied new spout) 2) Toilet 3) Sink Tech Bill came for an estimate. He seemed polite, and I could tell he is a heavy smoker from his smell. He gave an estimate of $250 to fix the listed above problems. I said it was high from what others haf quoted me on Yelp ($150-$200). He said the toilet would take a few hours. Company needed to make money, yah dah. I mentioned Yelp deal ($155 for $200 deal, or 15% off). He declined. I verbally played with him saying he should do it for a single mom for $200. He said he couldn't do it for free. I replied it wasn't free though. Then he left. I then received a quote via email for $345+ (see pic). A few days later, another company came & fixed these 3 things + the toilet leak in my 2nd bathroom for a total of $245 ($200 + supplies & tax) with faster turnarounds time. Bill was bullshitting with me saying it would take a few hours when it actually took a little over an hr with a different company.
