Summary: One of the better meals I have had in a while.
Ponied up to the bar at about 6pm on a Thursday. Place opens at 5:30 and I recommend you don't arrive much later than that as it gets PACKED, and its a pretty quaint dining area. Grabbed a beer on tap: small, but very good selection of local and popular non-local beers. The Korean beef was fantastic, but the star of the show here is the Steamed Bun. Think of a melt-in-your-mouth Bahn Mi, crafted by the hands of angels. It is THAT good. The pork belly is so tender and flavorful and that steam bun is criminally good. Hoisin adds a bit of sweetness and slight tang, and the pickled vegetables off-set the soft texture with a nice little crunch. Great idea, brilliantly executed. Next time, I might just order 5 and plow through them. Better prepare for the "Oh are you expecting someone else?" question...
But I digress; this place is really really good. Do yourself a solid and check it out.
