Really just a takeout sushi place, as there is minimal seating at this location (much less than the Oakland location). You can make your own sushi roll (or even a sushi burrito!), or select from suggested combos.
The special sushi roll of the week that Ms Beffrey ordered was the Craig Street Roll, half eel half imitation crabmeat, with tempura shrimp and avocado topped with sweet chili sauce. Also ordered the California roll and a side seaweed salad (a steal at $2.50). The rolls are very dense and incredibly filling. Rice is okay, more of a binder rather than adding anything to the flavor profile, but pretty much what was expected for a "fast food" establishment.
This is a smooth takeout operation -- there's a machine that rolls the rice onto the seaweed, the staff packs the toppings and rolls it up, and a machine slices the rolls. Service was relatively fast.
If you have bad food allergies, would be wary of eating here, as there's no way the roll-slicer can be decontaminated between rolls.
