Gluten-free review:
When you first walk into Spirit Tree you will be welcomed with the sights of bottled cider (yum!), artisanal packaged food and the sweet smell of non-gluten-free baked goods. I went to eat something on their patio and enjoy some cider. While waiting to be seated I had to wait a couple of minutes while 4 staff members talked among themselves behind the bar and ignored me. Finally one of them walked over to me and seated me and my party. She seemed very indifferent to being there - no smile or friendliness, but not impolite or rude either.
On the menu there is virtually nothing that is gluten-free. My waiter was not very helpful with identifying gluten-free items for me and seemed annoyed when I started asking whether certain menu items were gluten-free. At one point she said an item wasn't gluten-free because it had dairy in it. So my impression is that there is little to no training at this establishment about gluten. They also do not offer any substitutions (i.e. substituting bread with corn chips). I was really hungry so I took my chances with some fries and I felt slightly bloated after.
The cider itself is really good and would highly recommend coming here and getting a flight. The patio also has a nice view of a small pond. They do have some gluten-free snacks that they sell in the store but I don't know if they make them or it's from elsewhere that's more trustworthy. My suggestion is to bring your own food, get some cider from the store and then sit on their picnic benches by the pond.
Note: I am gluten intolerant and don't have celiac's disease. My reactions range from mild to moderate depending on how much gluten I consume. I suspect high cross-contamination here and poorly educated staff so avoid eating here if you have ceiliac's disease.
TL;DR cider and view is great, no trustworthy gluten-free food, poor service
