  • A fairer rating would be 2 1/2 stars, but since 3 stars is definitely not deserved, I opted for 2. On the pluses, they have a good selection at times but sometimes the plants are very tired looking - hit or miss really. The reason I bother to even give a review is the terrible communication. I put in an order which they said, no problem to over two weeks ago for some annuals they had been carrying. One week passed and I heard nothing so I called - they said the truck didn't show up. I explained if they couldn't get them just let me know as I had my gardeners scheduled to do a big annual planting day. They said no worries it will be here next Friday for sure, we will call you. Did I get a call? - NO. I called and waited on the phone for 20 minutes only to hear that their supplier forgot the order . Based on their "no problem" and "for sure" - I have my gardeners showing up in an hour. I can understand that they can't control their trucks or their suppliers but I can't forgive the complete lack of communication. How hard is it to pick up a phone when you say you will???? So my recommendation is go and browse - if you see something you really like buy it then - don't expect to ever see it again and NEVER place any special orders with them - go to Summer Winds Nursery in Scottsdale for special orders (they are far more communicative and responsive).
