  • I fell out of love with big box stores a while ago, but sometimes you just have to tap into them. I was searching for new unlocked cell phones for the family. Best Buy had them. I trekked up there to get them and I have to say the folks there were more than accommodating. The manager of the mobile electronics area sat with me while we activated the new phones (I wanted to avoid a $35 restocking fee if I opened them and they didn't work for me). The service was excellent and we got things switched. As a technologically well-educated shopper, I can avoid a lot of the big box issues. I've seen too many customers getting up-sold on technology they don't need.
