  • This is regarding the nail salon on Arroyo : Regal Nails inside walmart. I went there on April 13 2015 for a gel manicure and eyebrow threading. When I walked in I was greeted by Helen she said gel manicure I always said yes and eyebrow. She always make a sarcastic comment such has I don't see you for long time. I ask her is she busy she said I take you in 15 minutes. I said ok then I used that time to get my eyebrow threaded. That took about 15 minutes so I noticed that she had another client in the other chair next to her station. So I was about to sit in her chair when Helen said NO go sit over there he will do good job for you. I turned around and looked at the guy she was talking about I have never seem him before. So I said WHY you said 15 minutes it's past that, then in the middle of that conversation the woman that she was working on sat back in her chair. So she was working 2 ladies at the same time. One in her chair when I walked in and another one came in when I was getting my eyebrows threaded. She was being greedy and basically did not care about me and my little gel manicure which cost $25 and I always gave her $10 tip. What really made me upset was that she always said you wait long time. I should not have to explain to her why I do not come in every 2 or 3 weeks. Do not tell me how to spend my money. I keep my nails really short and I take very good care of them. I am handicapped I swell up when I get stressed out {EDEMA} and I do not know how to drive. But one thing I do very well is take care of my nails and face my apperance.I waited tables for 30 years. Good customer service and always looking your best brings the guests, clients or customer back. After I got upset with Helen I was raising my voice and I told her that was very unprofessional of her to just past me off to someone else. Treating me like I was trash. I been going to her for a long time. I am pretty sure the man she was passing me off to was nice but I did not want him. I wanted a woman. I went to a man their before and he took 2 hours to do my nails my husband was like WOW This is the first time it took that long. He sat way in the back. I had to cancel my dentist appointment because of it. Anyway after raising my voice I asked the First eyebrow lady{The one who did my eyebrows} who is the manager she said she is HELEN. I was like are you kidding me that is so wrong. I tipped the eyebrow lady $4 on $7. The eyebrow lady said maybe she had an appointment. I said if she had an appointment she would have told me when I walked in. Then I turned back to Helen and told her I will NEVER come back here again and the 2 friends I brought in here and recommended them will never come back as well. I will make sure of that. Being that I was raising my voice she said come and sit in my chair now. I told her H£ll NO. I remember one time I was there sitting in Helen chair and a woman stopped by with a baby on her hip wanted a manicure she ask how long will it be. Helen did not respond back to her. She let her stand there for a good 5 minutes then the lady just left. I looked at Helen and she did not look at me at all. That to was very rude. Has I read the reviews about Helen she does not belong in a management position. I went to her because she is good at what she does. She is fast end and out. But her mannerism and attitude is FOUL IT STINKS. I am glad I know it now. I wish I could go back to the eyebrow lady but I just can't. I wish I could give this a -1 star. 5 Star is for the eyebrow lady. Thank you for being so nice and talkative.
