| - Jobot is a lovely establishment, I highly recommend it. Everyone that I have brought here has really loved it, and I think liked me more because of my good taste :)
Food/Drink: One gripe I have with a lot of coffee shops is how pretentious they are. The overwhelming variety of options makes me feel like a chump and not worthy. Jobot, on the other hand, has enough variety and sufficient quality to appease my friends with more distinguished palates, but makes me feel comfortable (this could also be due to their service which I will expound on more below). I always get the cold brew, and I personally find it delicious. Plus, the coffee is locally sourced, which always makes me feel better. As far as the noms go, I've only tried a pastry. I remember thinking it was good, but also can't remember what it was, so it clearly wasn't that memorable.
Atmosphere: Jobot's atmosphere is what sets it apart. It's quiet, but not oppressively so. I've done work on my laptop in a corner before, and have also brought friends and family here to chat and play board games. Both times, I felt at ease. There is also an outdoor patio which is nice when it's cooler out, and is also dog-friendly. I've brought my own board games to play, but have also played using their small arsenal-- I think all they have is Scrabble, chess, and dominoes, but I could be wrong.
Service: The people who work at Jobot are super nice, and that may also be what contributes to my good impression of the atmosphere. They are patient and helpful. I came once with a friend who can be demanding and rude at times, and the staff dealt with the situation very calmly and professionally. They also keep the place spick and span.
Parking: Even though it's downtown, there's a covered parking lot right next to it that usually has one or two spaces for non-residents. There's a two-hour max for parking, which is not ideal, but they don't enforce this too strictly in my experience. Plus, the area around is nice enough to walk around a bit from wherever you parked.
