We love the Old Fashioned for Sunday brunch, lunch, cocktails or dinner. Do I have everything covered? Friday fish fry is great. Cheese curds and rings are terrific. Brats are vintage Cheboygan. If I am in the mood for brats I usually get the double.
If there is one restaurant/bar in the Madison area that will provide the true Madison experience this is the place. As an added bonus It's also right across the street from our beautiful state capital and, from April to October, the capital square hosts a world class Farmer's Market on Saturdays from sunrise until early afternoon.
If there's a long wait for a table try to grab a spot at the bar for your meal. Bar service is top notch!
One more thing...DON'T leave without trying an Old Fashioned. You will order a second! I prefer mine with Maker's Mark and sour! Simply Awesome!
