| - I wasn't very happy with the level of service I received from this vet. I tried them out for the first time as I moved from Summerlin to Henderson and was trying to find a good vet here. My dog was limping, and I brought him in to get checked out. They told me they could fit him in and after the doctor checked him out , he asked if I could leave him for an hour to do X-rays , which was something I hadn't experienced before. I obliged only because I lived right up the street. Upon picking him up, the doctor offered ONE surgery option for a torn ACL, which cost $3000. He told me they would be in touch with information of the surgeon that could do the operation. Two weeks went by and I never received a call. At that point I called them and asked why I never got a call back and was told they would get back to me at the end of the day. To me, that was a sign that this office is way too busy to keep up with new patients. I ended up calling my vet that I have used for many years. I got in the next day (Saturday) and surgery was scheduled and done that following Monday. The surgery was done by the doctor that I met with, not to mention, he sat and explained with a chart, exactly how a torn ACL happens and what they can do to correct it. He gave two different surgery options, one which was half the price that this vet quoted. He even called the next day to find out how my dog was doing. Anytime I have taken any one of my dogs to my regular vet, Town Center Animal Hospital, whether it be something small or big , they always call right away to check up on the dog. To me that is the type of vet that I want taking care of my dogs, not one that forgets to check back on something as important as a torn ACL. Unfortunately I won't be back to Seven Hills Animal Hospital.
