  • This is the friendliest comic store in Phoenix. I used to be a regular here every Wednesday, but then I got a girlfriend. This store has a great selection and tons or rare books on display. Their customer service is excellent. A few years ago I was reading the Fantastic Four religiously. I picked up every issue. Then the death of Johnny Storm came out and the shelves were empty. I was very sad... nerdy sad. As I was paying for my purchases, I confided in the clerk by telling him people bought that comic just for the value/hype and the real fans (Like me) missed out! He then reached behind the counter and pulled out a copy and said "We were holding this one for a real fan." and he sold it to me. Made my freakin day. Looking back at those days makes me smile... and realize why I was single.
