| - Wow! What can I say about Ron Peterson and his company Peterson Air Care? Savior? Angel? God Send? Just over all Wonderful!! I'm seriously in tears as I write this heartfelt review for Peterson Air Care and Home Services. It's been a long time coming.
I discovered Peterson Air in 2009 through a Groupon for bi-yearly maintenance on our AC. They come out once before summer, and once before winter. My parents had just bought the house that year and we discovered that AC unit was the original unit that was placed on the house when it was built back in 1980, It was 29 years old! Yikes! The AC ran until summer of 2015 under their care, which is an amazing feat on its own. How many people can claim that their AC ran great for 35 years? That's the care and quality you get when you do business with Ron Peterson.
When our AC unit went out, I was away from home on vacation with some family in California for 4th of July weekend. I got a call from my mom on July 2nd, 2015 at 9am. She told me that the AC went out the night before This is a Phoenix summer when temperatures reach 116 degrees in the daytime and only cool down to 95 degrees at night. My mother told me that they could not afford to get a motel and that she (60), my father (62), my very ill aunt (65) and my niece's (13 and 4) and nephew (8) had to sleep outside in the back yard with fans, because the house was too hot. I was so horrified that I cried and wanted to rush home, but what could I do? I didn't know, what I'd do once I got their. Sleep outside in the heat with them? It wasn't going to fix the AC.
I decided then to call Ron and he wasn't sure what he could do on such short notice. Especially with it only one day before the 4th of July weekend. He was letting his men off a day early to celebrate the holiday weekend with their families. So then I told him the situation of my elderly parents and very ill and and children sleeping outside, he jumped into action. He got me going on a financing plan and had one of his men shop around for an AC unit and crane that would be ready to go first thing in the morning on July 3rd. His own son who works the family business with him asked some of his men if they would volunteer their morning off to help a desperate family in need before they take off to enjoy their own families, needless to say, his whole crew volunteered!
I was humbled, shocked and over joyed when Ron said that it would be his son that would personally be there in the morning. It would be his own family out there helping out my family. Talk about customer service...No, Family Service! They were out there by 9am and had the unit up and running by noon. They even took the old broken unit away. On top of that, they even applied for the energy saving tax breaks for us. My whole family was moved beyond words and touched beyond emotion for what Ron Peterson was able to do for us. He not only saved our summer, but with how ill my aunt is, he might have even saved her life that day. I truly, from the bottom of my heart, recommend Peterson Air to everyone who reads this.
P.S. As a side note, the Ron Peterson family is from the same area in Washington State as my family is, how awesome is that!! Keep cool my Yelp! family!
