  • Technically, this should be no stars as it was so bad we didn't even make it to the food. My fiance and I went here tonight for a celebratory dinner. We were about 15 minutes early for our reservation and they weren't quite ready for us so we figured we'd grab a drink at the bar while we waited. The bar was not very busy but it still took a surprising amount of time for the bartender to even acknowledge us. There were quite a few fruit flies buzzing around and when we finally ordered our drinks (both of which were from their cocktail menu - so things they SHOULD have had) I was told they didn't have the bourbon for the drink I ordered. Not a big deal as the bartender suggested a substitute, but it seemed like it was an inconvenience for her. She made my drink and part of my fiance's drink when she brought mine over and told my fiance that they were out of the lemonade for her drink. She then put mine down and walked away before we could order a different drink. Eventually we did get a replacement drink order but almost immediately noticed dead fruit flies in it. There were not only a few dead flies IN the drink, there were noticeable parts of flies floating ON it. When I pointed this out to the bartender she copped an attitude about it. The drink had only had one sip taken from it so it's not like we were running a scam, but despite the large fly my fiance had fished out and dropped on a napkin the bartender still seemed fairly incredulous. The couple next to us wasn't having much luck either and at this point the meat they were bringing to the tables smelled odd and we just decided to leave (the table was also still not ready and we were now about 10 minutes past our reservation time). The bartender did eventually come back and made a big show of ripping up the old bill like she was doing us a favor by comping the one drink but really, rather than being proud of ripping up the old bill, she should have been embarrassed about serving a drink like that. We left and told the hostess to go ahead and cancel the reservation on the way out. The hostess mentioned that the table "wasn't that far behind schedule". We told her that wasn't why we were leaving and my fiance asked to speak to the manager. The hostess said the manager was unavailable as they were helping at the bar. We just laughed and left and will not be giving it a second try. If the bar is that dirty and generally bug infested, I can't imagine what the kitchen is like. No thank you!
