I ate at Ditkas for the second time in mid-September. I had eaten there a few years ago with my wife and a few other couples. I must say the food was outstanding this visit. My friend and I had made a 5:30 reservation and were promptly seated. Our waiter was attentive but not overbearing. I had a mixed drink and my friend had wine.
For the most part, everything is pretty much ala carte. I ordered a 16 ounce prime rib with red skin potatoes. It came with bread. The prime rib was flawless. Great cut, fantastic taste. Potatoes were very good as well.
As others have indicated, Ditkas can get expensive. Probably a little expensive for the location. Certainly worth a special occasion. I would definitely return if I am craving a good steak.
